About This Project
This primary bathroom was transformed from a cramped, dated space into a spa-like retreat. The homeowners wanted a luxurious walk-in shower, heated floors, and a double vanity with ample storage.
We expanded the bathroom footprint by reclaiming space from an adjacent closet, creating room for a stunning curbless shower with frameless glass and a floating double vanity.
What the Homeowner Needed
The existing bathroom felt small and outdated with a standard tub/shower combo, single vanity, and vinyl flooring. The layout was inefficient and lacked the spa-like feel the homeowners desired for their primary suite.
Design Choices & Approach
By borrowing space from a seldom-used closet, we expanded the footprint by 30 square feet. The tub was replaced with a spacious curbless walk-in shower featuring floor-to-ceiling tile and a rain showerhead. Radiant heated floors provide warmth underfoot year-round. Custom floating vanity with soft-close drawers offers storage without visual weight.
